Electric Cars

20 time is when you have one of the 5 work days to work on a subject that you are passion about. This subject should have biological or scientific principles. The essential questions I am asking are, how have electric engines replaced gasoline engines and why is this change so important. My 20 time project is to study electric car and how it is built. I chose to do electric cars because I am very interested in them and my father is considering buying an electric SUV.  My project choice answers my essential questions by I will show that the electric car is more beneficial for the environment that a gasoline powered car. My goals are be able to describe how a electric engine works and describe the benefits of owning an electric car. I will check in with Mrs. Koch or Mr. Elliott once per week. I will research different electric car manufactures. I will gather information from different environmental groups on the impact of electric cars and the environment. My next step is to continue research.
